The event will include a panel discussion about Dr. Walker's legacy, performances, and a special presentation to the Walker family.

Join the U.S. Mint and the Smithsonian American Women's History Museum at the National Postal Museum to celebrate the release of the Dr. Mary Edwards Walker Quarter. The quarter honors Dr. Mary Edwards Walker as the first woman U.S. Army surgeon and the only woman to be awarded the Medal of Honor. The event will include fun for the whole family with crafts, activities, and story time.
